That prep work ensures a smooth install day. ### What will happen on install day - We'll cover the area and clear a path. Stone is heavy, so we want to you have the floor covered and the path to your bathroom is clear. - We'll remove the old vanity top if needed. We'll disconnect the plumbing from your old vanity top and remove it carefully. Most of the time, we're able to pull the vanity top off without hurting the cabinet below. - We dry fit the top first, with no adhesive. We'll place your vanity top and verify that all the gaps, lines where the stone meets the wall, etc. are correct. If not, that is much easier to correct when no glue is applied. - We secure and seal. We apply adhesive to bond the top to the cabinet. We use silicone around the cut-out and the backsplash area where the stone meets the wall to no water gets under the vanity top and into that joint between stone and wall. - We reconnect plumbing and perform a water test.
